Road to become the real Generasi GIGIH

So, on 11th of May my life about to change. I got the acceptance email to be part of Generasi Gigih Program 1st Batch for Data Analyst Learning Path and on 24th of May I finally started my wonderful journey there.

Its been 4 weeks now and let me tell you all the new things I have learned. In Generasi Gigih, I learned everything from hardskill, softskill even English skill. Being a Data Analyst is a new direction for me and I am so glad that I can be facilitated by Yayasan Anak Bangsa Bisa to be able to learn those new things. Beside all those things, There are also 3 parts of Webinar. Amazing, right! ✨

The 1st webinar was held with the theme “Getting ahead by learning to unlearn and relearn”. I really like how kak Ale delivered her message in the webinar. She talked about how to have a growth mindset for career and professional development preparation by learning the meaning of learn, unlearn, and relearn, understand the significance of learning to unlearn and relearn in life and career, and also the practical guide on knowing how to unlearn and relearn. The webinar was so enjoyable and a lot of questions that were also my common problems answered in this webinar.

Second webinar was called “Self Learning 101 for Tech Talent”. Here, kak Opan gave some tips for those who want to dive into the Tech World and who are new to the Tech World. From this webinar I realized the importance of determining the interests we desire, stick to the goal, never stopping learning and practicing, and also being committed. There are always rooms to improve your communication skills especially in English speaking, always be prepared by googling, never afraid to join communities and contribute to a project were also mentioned by kak Opan in his very insightful webinar.

Kak Kevin as the Co-Founder and CEO of Gojek was the speaker in the 3rd Webinar with the theme of “What to Prepare to be a Change Maker”. He talked about the journey of Gojek from the beginning till now. That for sure there will always be problems in every process, but we must always believe that the problems will be resolved. It is so motivating to hear kak Kevin talked about how to build a startup and make it to be the leading path in its field like building a team, leading an organization, interacting with business, connecting technology from the objectives of a product. Now that I think about it, It is magnificent to think about how is the improvement on Gojek nowadays. With his friendly speech, I got so many motivations from kak Kevin to be a Change Maker, which is not directly on big changes, but that starts with our nearest environment.

Once again, a big thanks to Yayasan Anak Bangsa Bisa, Gojek and the beloved partners for the opportunity. Really looking forward to explore the new experience in the next level. 💪
